We're now seeking an experienced SOC Technical Writer to support the State of Iowa's Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO), Security Operations Center (SOC) on a remote basis. The SOC Technical Writer will play a critical role in providing technical writing support, standardizing documentation, and offering business support across the SOC. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, consolidating, and standardizing various artifacts for incident responders, including:
The SOC Technical Writer will also assist in defining and measuring SOC Service Level Agreements (SLA), Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), Memorandum of Agreement (MOA), and other formal documentation to support the SOC. Additionally, they will integrate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and develop status reporting for stakeholder consumption.
