About UPS Capital and the Role
UPS Capital is a leading provider of financial solutions and services, and they're seeking a gifted Graphic Designer to join their team. As a Visual Planner, you'll work closely with various teams across the organization to develop visual concepts that align with the company's business objectives and brand identity. This is a hybrid role, requiring you to work onsite in Sandy Springs on Tuesday-Thursday and remotely on Monday and Friday.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and design a wide range of materials, including website pages, presentations, social media graphics, program collateral, signage, internal communications, brochures, and marketing materials.
- Translate key messaging into high-quality designs that adhere to the established brand identity.
- Develop ideas manually or using design software, and execute original content by determining the optimal use of color, text, typography, imagery, and layout.
- Analyze existing processes, identify shortcomings, and create solutions that improve design capabilities and/or corporate branding.
- Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
- At least three years of experience (academic and professional) with Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A willingness to continue building your skillset through education and training.
- At least two years of experience in professional visual communication, preferably with a creative or marketing agency.
- A four-year degree (or equivalent) in visual depiction, art, marketing, or a related discipline.
Preferred Skills and Competencies
In addition to the essential qualifications, you'll also need:
- Working knowledge of ActionScript, CSS, HTML, digital asset management systems, and content management systems.
- A keen understanding of branding and marketing principles.
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
