Job Overview

As a Property and Casualty insurance expert, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries, providing plan coverage information, quotes, policy changes, and policy change impacts to premium. Key Responsibilities
- Contact policyholders through inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal, enhancing retention and meeting the needs of the consumer.
- Counsel policyholders on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to ensure sufficient protection against risks covered by Property and Casualty insurance.
- Make recommendations and/or changes to policies, gaining policyholder acceptance to process the changes.
- Receive and respond to calls and emails, documenting all activity in our system.
- Utilize knowledge of the insurance industry and arenaflex policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service.
- Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison for information exchange between customers and insurance companies.
- Process changes to policies, submitting changes to specific companies and following up to ensure timely processing.
- Review policy information, referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims.
- Mail insured documentation to be signed and returned, following up to ensure timely return.
- Recognize cross-sell opportunities and obtain quote information.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment.
- A Property and Casualty insurance license (required).
- Membership license preferred and/or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
