Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and Resolve Customer Inquiries: Successfully address and resolve all customer service inquiries or issues via incoming phone, email, and/or chat contacts in a timely and professional manner.
- Provide Critical Service and Product Information: Ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date information about our products and services, promoting customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Process Orders and Enter Data: Accurately process orders and enter data into our order entry system, maintaining attention to detail and efficiency.
- Track Customer Packages: Monitor and track customer packages, providing updates and resolving any issues that may arise during shipping.
- Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to support the team and ensure seamless customer experiences.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- 6+ Months of Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience in a customer service-focused environment, such as a contact center, retail, hospitality, or food and beverage.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues.
- Fast-Paced Environment: The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high sense of urgency, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
- Computer Systems and Troubleshooting: A basic understanding of computer systems and troubleshooting issues with minimal assistance.
- Scheduled Work Hours: The ability to work a set schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with required overtime as business needs dictate.
- Home Workspace Requirements: A quiet, distraction-free, secure home workspace with a wired, high-speed internet connection, modem or router with an Ethernet port.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Customer Service Certification: Certification in customer service or a related field is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other technical tools used in customer service.
- Language Skills: Proficiency in a second language is an asset.
