Opportunity available for two Senior SAP S/4HANA Finance (FICO) resources to support a large-scale SAP S/4 conversion initiative. This is a hands-on technical and functional role requiring strong configuration expertise and the ability to debug code. The team is entering System Integration Testing (SIT) in March and anticipates a high volume of defect triage and resolution. Candidates must be able to hit the ground running and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
Project Overview
• SAP ECC environment for 30 years transitioning to S/4HANA
• Finance scope includes both brownfield and greenfield elements
• 1,900 Finance test cases
• Complex landscape with significant custom code, interfaces, and reports
• Target go-live: September 6, 2026
Key Responsibilities
• Lead defect triage during SIT, including root cause analysis and resolution
• Perform SAP FICO configuration and validation
• Review and analyze data issues
• Debug existing custom programs and collaborate with ABAP developers as needed
• Support integration testing across Finance modules
• Validate and refine existing requirements
• Work cross-functionally with technical and business teams
Required Qualifications
• Multiple years of hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience (upgrade and/or conversion projects required)
• Strong SAP FICO expertise
• Experience in S/4 implementation and migration projects
• Proven experience with defect triage in complex environments
• Ability to debug ABAP code (no development required)
• Strong configuration skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
