Job Summary:
In this role, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining a positive, value-added, consultative relationship with business leaders and HR Business Partners across American Express. You will identify and resolve employee issues, provide coaching and guidance on performance management, and ensure consistency with policies, practices, and applicable business regulations. Your expertise will help us promote a positive workplace culture and drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with business leaders and HR Business Partners
- Identify and resolve employee issues, including performance management, attendance, and conduct
- Provide coaching and guidance on employee relations issues
- Conduct investigations and resolve complaints in a fair and timely manner
- Collaborate with various stakeholders, including HR, Compliance, and Legal
- Develop and implement employee relations programs and initiatives
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and PHR certification preferred
- HR experience with a strong background in employee relations and employment law
- Experience in a HR consulting role with a proven ability to influence without authority
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
