We are seeking a Remote Field Service Technician to be located near Salt Lake City, Utah.  This position is responsible for supporting customers with on-site service, technical support, and on-site training. Primary functions of this position are commissioning new SCR equipment; preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of existing SCR equipment; and telephone customer support. The Field Service Technician also prepares reports documenting the work performed and the performance of the equipment. Gain solid experience by working on equipment solutions for various applications and industries. Your Role on Our Team: - Commissioning new equipment supplied by Catalytic Combustion Corporation. - Troubleshoot, maintain and service a wide array of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems. - Respond to & support customers, including technical phone support. - Post-commissioning customer training on operations and maintenance. - Follow-up on customer calls after service work completion. - PLC, HMI, VFD and component uploading & downloading. - PID loop configuration and tuning. - System wiring and testing. - Spare parts and Service Trip order processing.  What We're looking For: Two year degree in electro-mechanical, electronics, robotics or equivalent technical or military training in a related field.  Previous work experience of 5 years is desired. - Working knowledge of industrial instrumentation & controls including analog transmitters, temperature/pressure measuring devices, PID controls. - Uploading & downloading knowledge of PLC and Operator Interface equipment. - Ability to read electrical schematics. Ability to modify/redline electrical schematics is a plus. - Ability to read process and instrumentation diagrams. - Ability to communicate technical information over the phone, in writing and in person. - Ability to source information and use resources. - Good organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt. - A valid driver’s license. - Ability to work weekends and overtime. - The job requires employees to stand, sit, squat and move as they work and lift up to 50 lbs. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, well-spoken and able to present a positive personal image. This position will require on-site training at our manufacturing facility.  Length of training will be determined based on current knowledge and experience.
