Oracle HCM Consultants 100% REmote Key Responsibilities • Lead the full Talent Management track within the Oracle HCM Cloud implementation, serving as the primary subject matter expert (SME) and point of contact for the module. • Oversee the design, configuration, build, and optimization of the following core Oracle Talent Management functionalities: • Goals and Performance Management (including performance reviews, goal setting, and alignment) • Career Development (career paths, development plans, and growth opportunities) • Talent Review and Succession Planning (talent pools, 9-box assessments, readiness evaluations, and succession pipelines) • Touchpoints, Grow, and Dynamic Skills (continuous feedback, skill development, AI-driven skills libraries, and learning integration via Oracle Grow) • Design and configure end-to-end Talent Management processes, including talent profiles, competencies, content libraries, and integrations with other HCM modules (Core HR, Recruiting, Learning, Compensation, etc.). • Provide strategic guidance on Oracle best practices, leveraging features such as AI-suggested skills, Opportunity Marketplace, and Dynamic Skills to modernize talent processes. • Support the creation and maintenance of the overall HCM project plan; regularly report status updates to project leadership and maintain accurate Jira/task statuses. • Lead and coordinate all module-specific testing activities (unit, integration, system, and user acceptance testing), including defect resolution and regression testing. • Assist in cutover planning, transition to production support, knowledge transfer, and post-go-live hypercare activities. • Identify and mitigate risks related to Talent Management processes, data migration, security, and change management. Required Qualifications and Experience • Deep expertise as an Oracle HCM Cloud Talent Management functional consultant/lead with multiple successful full-lifecycle implementations (preferably in large organizations or regulated industries such as utilities, government, or energy). • Strong hands-on experience configuring and delivering: • Performance Management and Goals • Career Development and Talent Profiles • Succession Planning and Talent Reviews • Oracle Grow, Touchpoints, Dynamic Skills, and related AI/ML capabilities • Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor, delivering best-practice recommendations and driving process transformation while aligning with client business objectives. • Solid understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM architecture, Functional Setup Manager (FSM), security models, and integrations (e.g., with Learning, Recruiting, or external systems). • Experience working in a consulting capacity on large-scale ERP/HCM transformations, ideally involving Accenture or similar partners. • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills—able to translate technical concepts for non-technical HR and business leaders. • Strong project management skills, including experience with Jira, project planning, status reporting, and coordinating testing/cutover activities. • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s or relevant certifications preferred). • Oracle HCM Cloud certifications (Talent Management or related) are highly desirable. Preferred Skills • Prior experience in the utility, energy, or public sector environment, with understanding of workforce challenges such as skilled labor shortages, succession for critical roles, and union/compliance considerations. • Knowledge of Oracle AI-embedded features (e.g., skills enrichment, gap analysis, and recommendation engines) and how they drive modern talent strategies. • Familiarity with change management and training activities in HCM implementations. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment with both on-site and remote resources.
