We're seeking a passionate and empathetic Remote Customer Service Associate to join our team! As the initial point of contact for inquiries from potential and existing members, you'll play a vital role in delivering comprehensive resolutions and building lasting relationships.
About This Role
As a Remote Customer Service Associate, you'll provide one-to-one inbound telephone contact with applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees, addressing their concerns and questions regarding pensions and other financial benefits. You'll accurately document enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances, and maintain technical and program policy proficiency within client rules/guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service via inbound telephone calls, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of inquiries and concerns
- Document enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances in a web-based computer system
- Maintain technical and program policy proficiency within client rules/guidelines and related program policies
- Provide clear, complete, accurate, and objective information based on a full understanding of program requirements
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers
- Problem-solve through analysis and ongoing feedback to achieve results
- Work with people of diverse backgrounds, demonstrating empathy and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
Benefits of Working with Us:
- Competitive Salary: $16.00 per hour pay rate after training (bi-weekly pay)
- Paid Training: $15.00 per hour with equipment provided, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm, 12 weeks
- Full-time Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work an 8-hour shift between 8am-10pm EST, Monday-Friday

Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma/GED
- Age: Must be 18 years of age
- Background Check: Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Experience: Previous customer service and/or call center experience; experience working with healthcare and employer benefits is highly preferred
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with MS Office and keyboarding
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with applicants, beneficiaries, and co-workers
- Problem-Solving: Ability to problem-solve through analysis and ongoing feedback

Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive.
