Legal Shield is a leading provider of legal services that offers customers the ability to consult with attorneys on any legal matter, at any time, without worrying about high hourly costs. As a Remote Customer Support Agent, you'll be the primary point of contact for customers seeking answers to their billing, payment, and service-related questions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide inbound customer service to potential and current Legal Shield customers, addressing their questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by actively listening to their needs, empathizing with their concerns, and providing timely and effective solutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding billing, payment, and services offered, ensuring that all interactions are accurate, informative, and engaging.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including resolving customer complaints and issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve customer issues and improve overall service delivery.
Shifts and Schedules
We offer a range of shift options to accommodate different lifestyles and preferences. Our available shifts include:
- Full-Time Shift - Option #1: Thursday - Monday, 12:30 am - 9:00 am
- Full-Time Shift - Option #2: Tuesday/Wednesday, 12:30 am - 9:00 am; Friday - Sunday, 4:30 pm - 1:00 am
- Part-Time Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of customer service experience in a call center or similar environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with customers and internal teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and issues in a fair and timely manner.
- Ability to maintain customer and client confidentiality, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a remote work environment or with a home-based call center.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) software and other related technologies.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Equipment Requirements
To perform successfully in this role, you'll need the following equipment:
- A laptop or desktop PC (Windows 10) with a reliable internet connection.
- Ability to hardwire (plug-in) to your internet source with an ethernet cable.
- A USB headset (not wireless) with a noise-canceling microphone.
- A webcam (external or embedded).
