Job Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Home Infusion Nurse. In this full-time role, you will have the opportunity to work with patients in the comfort of their own homes, providing a range of infusion treatments and educating them on their care. Key Responsibilities
- Provide a range of infusion treatments to patients in their homes, including but not limited to: antibiotic therapy, hydration therapy, and pain management
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs
- Educate patients and their families on their care and treatment, including medication management and infusion therapy
- Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Utilize excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed, including weekends and holidays
- Travel to patient homes within a designated geographic area, with paid travel time and mileage reimbursement
Essential Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience, with IV-related experience preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of nursing experience, with high-tech IV infusion experience preferred
- Pediatric care experience highly preferred
- Home healthcare experience
- CRNI certification
