About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers and sales team, providing timely and accurate support to ensure seamless order processing, issue resolution, and account management. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders, including sales, operations, logistics, finance, and marketing event teams, to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage difficult customer situations, responding promptly to resolve customer needs and concerns
- Respond to customer and sales team requests for service and assistance, meeting timelines and commitments
- Receive and process orders via phone, fax, or email, entering them into SAP accurately and with a sense of urgency
- Research and resolve complex customer issues, complaints, and data requests, synthesizing diverse information to provide effective solutions
- Work in a fast-paced environment, adapting quickly to changes, competing demands, or unexpected events
- Provide vendor set-up information to client hospitals and/or sales representatives, ensuring smooth operations
- Create and manage customer account information, pricing, discounts, rebates, invoicing, and credits within SAP
- Verify contract pricing and charges for services, making adjustments based on complaints or issues
- Complete electronic payment forms, record change of address notifications, and issue discontinuance orders as needed
- Present innovative approaches, ideas, and suggestions to improve customer experience and work processes
- Foster strong and respectful communications with customers and the sales team, gathering purchase orders in a timely manner and addressing outstanding surgery cases
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written)
- Sharp attention to detail and a sense of urgency
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and time
- Strong customer service orientation, with the ability to develop strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and autonomously
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and team structure
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with the ability to calculate figures and amounts
- Demonstrated time management, planning, and organizing skills
- Ability to multi-task on various tasks
- Understanding of orthopedic procedures (desirable)
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 2 years of relevant sales support, data entry, or invoicing experience
- Proficient computer skills, specifically with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with SAP (strongly preferred) or other major ERP system
