COWI is a global engineering company seeking a highly motivated Bridge/Marine Structural EIT to join their team. The role involves preparing plans, design calculations, and cost estimates under the guidance of senior engineers while contributing to significant projects across North America.
Responsibilities
- Prepare plans, design calculations, and cost estimates under the direction of senior engineers
- Solve engineering problems and challenges
- Prepare documents such as technical specifications
- Liaise with other professionals and departments to gather information for projects
- Prepare engineering reports and other technical documents
- Conduct site inspections from time-to-time; and
- Perform other tasks as required
Skills
- Hold a master's degree in Structural Engineering or higher
- Be a registered Engineer-in-Training
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Actively participate in professional associations
- Be able and willing to learn
- Have high attention to details along with good judgment and decision-making skills
- Exhibit high-level planning and organizational capacities, effectively navigating through multiple deadlines with ease
- Be familiar with various structural analysis software programs
- Be proficient with the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
