An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse with expertise in Med Surg and Telemetry nursing to provide high-quality care on a travel assignment in High Point, NC. This role is tailored for professionals skilled in managing diverse patient populations, including observation, respiratory, general medical-surgical, palliative, hospice, psychiatric, diabetic, and surgical care. First-time travel nurses are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
• Active RN license with at least 2 years of clinical experience
• Proficiency in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
• BLS certification required
• Ability to pass a mandatory EKG exam during onboarding
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• Comfortable with providing care to complex patient populations including end-of-life and psychiatric observation patients
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system is a plus
• Flexibility with scheduling and the capacity to float across multiple healthcare units
Responsibilities / Duties:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a 12-hour night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), three days per week (every other week) with holiday shifts as needed
• Monitor and manage patients with a variety of acute and chronic conditions on a telemetry-capable medical-surgical unit
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care and support family members
• Comply with all facility policies including punctuality and adherence to attendance guidelines
• Participate in a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
