Position Overview
They are seeking an experienced Employment Litigator with at least 15 years of experience and significant trial experience to join their Labor & Employment Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record representing employers in complex litigation, administrative claims, and appellate matters across California.
Responsibilities
• Represent employers in state and federal courts and in appellate proceedings.
• Handle administrative claims before state and federal regulatory agencies.
• Provide strategic counseling to prevent and resolve workplace disputes.
• Advise clients on employment policies, disciplinary matters, and compliance.
• Participate in arbitrations, disciplinary appeals, and labor negotiations.
• Stay current on emerging trends, including the impact of technology and social media on employment law.
• Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to the practice group's reputation for excellence in employment litigation.
Qualifications
• Minimum 15 years of experience in employment law litigation.
• Substantial trial experience in state and federal courts.
• Strong knowledge of California labor and employment law.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and client communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-friendly environment.
• Northern California location preferred, but open to candidates across California.
Compensation & Work Environment
• $200,000 depending on experience
• Primarily remote firm with flexibility for California-based attorneys
• Sophisticated practice with high-level matters and long-term client relationships
