Retail Merchandising Operations Coordinator
• Work Location: 100% Remote (EST time zone to be specified)

• Prior experience supporting high-volume stores (1,000+ locations) is highly relevant
GENERAL FUNCTION
This role supports the team that manages retail merchandising in 1600+ Sunglass Hut, Sunglass Outfitters, and host businesses. The role will develop and maintain retail merchandising guidelines and libraries as well as provide operational support regarding in-store execution. The ideal candidate would be extremely detail oriented, have excellent time management skills, and understand retail needs.
MAIN ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop setup guideline templates in PowerPoint and/or InDesign for new store designs and new product initiatives; coordinate template hand-off to local Retail In-Store Communications (RISC) teams for finalization and store distribution
• Own the redevelopment of and continuously update the Fixture Library document, cataloging all fixtures used in stores, including capacities and fixture-specific merchandising principles
• Ensure the link between the fixture library and master data; update as new fixtures arise and publish on a bi-weekly basis
• Support the FW Reset Amendment Process, including organization of the amendment tracker and timely responses to store inquiries
• Support Photo Collection Validations for tests, special projects, and business initiatives; validate stores via photos for execution and compile compliance reporting for cross-functional partners
• Complete the Communication Request Template (CRT) for all Retail Merchandising communications
• Assist with Smartly uploads, including Monthly FPG, Fiscal week maps, and NRR brand flows, ensuring accuracy and consistency across platforms
• Coordinate with FGX on Havens for new Bass Pro stores
• Organize and archive all NRR layouts, maintaining clear and structured OneDrive folders for quick access and historical reference
• Support ad hoc and one-off space planning requests, including layout modifications, manual brand flow revisions, material organization, store-specific needs, and last-minute partner requests
SKILLS
• Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
• Proficient in Photoshop, InDesign, Outlook, OneDrive (shared-folder organization), and Teams
• Familiarity with space planning, merchandising guidelines, planograms, merchandising principles, or fixture mapping tools
• Highly organized
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize
• Comfortable supporting ad hoc and urgent requests with a high level of responsiveness
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage processes independently

QUALIFICATIONS
• 2 5 years of experience in Retail Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Space Planning, Operations, or a similar function
• Experience in a large retail environment preferred (multi-store, multi-format, or specialty retail)
• Bachelor's degree in Retail, Merchandising, Design, Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience preferred
• Experience working with contractor or agency-style work (nice to have, not required)
