They are seeking a Customer Service Specialist to assist clients with medical records status and ensure excellent customer service while documenting actions accurately in their system.
Responsibilities
- Meet daily goal of 85 calls per day, assisting clients, patients, and requestors with medical records status via phone
- Ensure accurate and detailed documentation of all actions in the Med-Release system
- Provide excellent customer service with prompt and concise information
- Build strong, value-based relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely processing of requests
Skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time effectively
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Previous medical records experience and knowledge of HIPAA preferred
- 1+ years of customer service or call center experience
- Fast learner with the ability to adapt to change
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Passionate about providing empathetic customer service
