Job Title: Quality Assurance Manager (Web Platforms)
Magellan Solutions USA is a veteran-owned Call Center and BPO company with a track record of performance. Magellan is actively pursuing an opportunity to provide a full-time QA Manager for a client in Florida.
Role Overview
The QA Manager is responsible for defining, implementing, and enforcing quality assurance standards across large-scale, high-traffic websites. This role ensures that all digital properties meet strict requirements for performance, accessibility, SEO integrity, security, and usability prior to launch and throughout ongoing maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
• Own the QA strategy for multi-site CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal).
• Define and maintain test plans covering:
• Functional testing
• Cross-browser and cross-device testing
• Performance and load testing
• Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
• SEO validation
• Lead QA efforts for:
• New feature releases
• Content migrations
• Emergency or crisis messaging deployments
• Coordinate with development, SEO, UX, and project management teams to resolve defects.
• Ensure Core Web Vitals meet performance thresholds prior to release.
• Establish pre-launch and post-deployment QA checklists.
• Oversee defect tracking, prioritization, and resolution SLAs.
• Validate analytics, tracking, and tag deployments.
• Produce QA reports for stakeholders and leadership.
Required Qualifications
• 5+ years in QA for web development projects.
• Experience managing QA for high-traffic or enterprise websites.
• Strong understanding of:
• Web standards
• CMS-based platforms
• Accessibility compliance
• SEO best practices
• Experience with QA tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, BrowserStack, Lighthouse).
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Government, tourism, or public-sector digital experience.
• Familiarity with Core Web Vitals and SEO auditing tools.
• Experience supporting crisis or emergency site updates.
