Job Description:
• Own the process of privacy management of the data company.
• Manage the agenda and document the decisions of the Privacy Policy Team.
• Work with the team to establish clear resolution of issues as they arise.
• Establish and maintain content and materials for guides to employees, clients, and suppliers.
• Structure content for and lead internal training sessions on privacy practices.
• Act as the authority and primary owner of Privacy for teams seeking clarification.
• Bring new issues to the attention of the Privacy Policy Team.
• Design and manage processes for regulatory changes.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulations by vendors and clients.
• Provide responses to external inquiries regarding privacy policies.
• Educate client-facing employees on company policy access and explanations.
• Represent the company externally regarding privacy practices.
• Advocate for ethical, transparent use of data across the company.
Requirements:
• Experience managing a privacy program for a company offering data products.
• Experience in advertising and marketing data and/or technology businesses.
• Exposure to and familiarity with data-centric technologies such as databases, data querying, programming, analytics, and/or cloud infrastructure.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to design effective business processes.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Educational or data industry experience that prepares you to independently investigate complex legal, technical, and operational subjects.
