Implement the sales strategy for Global Key Accounts EMEA and drive and monitor sales results within this area
Build and maintain an efficient sales teams to achieve business objectives and customer satisfaction across their area of responsibility
Orchestrate and coordinate local operating key account Teams to ensure aligned customer strategy and actions
Acquire new and expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
Continuously develop the assigned key account on a global level in line with Sartorius business objectives and customer needs and act as the main point of contact for the customer to ensure and manage a strong customer relationship for long term partnership
Identify new business opportunities aligned with the organization's overall market and growth strategy
Collaborate with all stakeholders in the organization and serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
Actively drive newly launched innovative products and services into the marketplace and proactively follow up on the successful implementation of sales activity
Frequently assess the potential for the defined key account and realize it into business by developing and implementing a valid account plan, request, and coordinate resources in line with the account plan
You have a master's degree in the field of Life Science, Biotechnology or equivalent
You have several years of sales experience, with bioprocess-based experience in Life Science industry
Proven experience in dealing with key accounts and/or key customers in the pharmaceutical industry
Experience in managing and developing a team is mandatory
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English
Self-motivated, energetic, results oriented, capacity to work independently with a strong sense of responsibility
Good teamwork skills and proven ability to also work with cross-functional teams
Willingness and ability to travel globally
