Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Senior Innovation Analyst to lead the development of quality solutions related to Payment Card Industry (PCI) Tokenization products, ensuring credit card security. As a skilled communicator and strategic problem solver, you'll anticipate and deliver timely solutions that make a significant impact for our stakeholders. This role is presented as a remote work position, which may require occasional travel for training, meetings, or conferences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead requirements analysis to develop quality solutions connected to PCI Tokenization products, ensuring credit card security.
- Support validation libraries and approval libraries used by Southwest application development teams to integrate with our enterprise authentication and authorization services.
- Collaborate with other Innovation Colleagues to provide counsel or solutions within their subject matter expertise.
- Identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems and seek opportunities to improve processes.
- Evaluate effort and value for solutions, applying business acumen with a wide-level understanding of technology platforms and designs.
- Verify data and carefully review and validate the accuracy of your work using reliance identification processes in innovation work.
- Establish or follow prioritization processes to drive work, completing tasks with a focus on moving quickly.
- Communicate ideas, business or technical requirements clearly and concisely in writing, using proper levels of summary and synthesis on a standard and consistent basis.
- Monitor program risks, issues, and scope, ensuring the proper level of priority, visibility, and acceleration.
- May perform other work obligations as directed by your Supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Four-year degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems or related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
- Advanced knowledge of business analysis, process modeling, and improvement.
- Advanced knowledge of technical environments.
- Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies.
- Skilled in team collaboration, communication, and negotiation when working with various teams and external partners.
- Ability to analyze large, complex, or unfamiliar business or technical problems, articulating the issue or root cause, and translating the analysis into practical solution recommendations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to research, create, and document requirements, processes, and technical specifications.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple and varied work streams/assignments.
- Ability to take on various tasks, whether administrative or project-related, while maintaining an effective level of completion in all responsible work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Network security experience.
- Knowledge of AWS Services, Identity Federation, Identity Providers, SAFe Methodology, Secure Proxy, Software Development Lifecycle Management, and Policy Decision Points.
