Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Freight Processor – Data Entry Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics and transportation team, you will be responsible for accurately entering information into client systems, researching Bills of Lading, performing data entry tasks, and processing accounts. This is a fully remote position, with the exception of an initial orientation and equipment pickup, which requires candidates to be local to the Broome County, NY area. Our ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter information into client systems, ensuring data quality and integrity
• Research and verify Bills of Lading, invoices, and other shipping documents
• Perform data entry tasks, including processing accounts and updating records
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve and maintain acceptable rates and quality standards, meeting or exceeding customer requirements
• Assist in the training of new employees and participate in cross-training initiatives to support company production commitments
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including compliance training and overtime requirements

Essential Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous data entry experience is a plus, but not required
• High-speed internet connection required (all equipment, including PC, monitors, keyboard, and mouse, will be provided by blithequark)
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Must be local to the Broome County, NY area for initial equipment pickup and HR orientation
