Arriello is seeking two experienced Spanish‑speaking experienced Local Person for Pharmacovigilance (LPPV) to join our expanding Pharmacovigilance network on a contractor basis. These roles require approximately fourteen hours of work per month and offer an excellent opportunity for experienced PV professionals who wish to support key safety activities within a flexible, part‑time arrangement.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting local Pharmacovigilance responsibilities for Spanish‑speaking markets.
- Monitoring National Competent Authority (NCA) websites, local literature, and safety mailboxes for safety updates.
- Managing and responding to NCA requests in a timely and compliant manner.
- Ensuring adherence to local PV legislation, guidelines, and reporting requirements.
- Reviewing and processing safety information received from local sources.
- Supporting or hosting inspections and audits in the context of local PV obligations.
- Maintaining current knowledge of applicable Pharmacovigilance legislation for relevant markets.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Pharmacovigilance experience, with direct experience as LPPV or similar local PV role for Spain.
- Experience interacting with NCAs (handling safety requests, preparing for inspections or audits).
- Experience monitoring local literature, authority websites, or PV mailboxes.
- Formal training in local PV legislation and guidelines.
- Experience supporting or hosting inspections or audits.
- Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet regulatory timelines.
- Residence in Spain is not required.
