Key Responsibilities
As a Medical Record and Data Entry Clerk – Project Support Specialist, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Retrieving patient medical records from various hospital systems, utilizing your technical skills to navigate complex databases and ensure accurate retrieval of information.
- Generating and preparing patient itemized bills in appropriate formats for internal and external audits, demonstrating your attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
- Extracting and entering necessary information from/to hospital patient accounting systems, leveraging your data entry skills to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Making phone calls to post-acute healthcare facilities to obtain information needed on patients, showcasing your excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with external stakeholders.
- Running and creating reports, utilizing your analytical skills to identify trends and insights that inform our revenue recovery efforts.
- Assisting with any other information gathering or data entry as needed by the recovery team, demonstrating your flexibility and willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Scanning and indexing of documents, ensuring that all records are accurately maintained and easily accessible.
Essential Qualifications
