Job Responsibilities
As a Math Instructor/Tutor with Mathnasium of Green Bay, your key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching and tutoring students in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method™, terminology, and teaching practices
- Working collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
- Assessing students9 learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
- Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes
- Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A passion for math and working with students
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
- Eagerness to learn and be trained on our proprietary methodology and materials
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks and prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Experience working with children is preferred, but not required
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience as a math instructor or tutor
- Familiarity with digital educational materials and processes
- Ability to work flexible hours, including afternoons and weekends
