About the Role
We're seeking an experienced HR Information and Security Designer to join our Ability Tech Designing team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable data structures for our HR division. This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional partners and contribute to the growth and development of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting and analysis environments.
- Design and implement comprehensive data structures for HR systems, including data models, dictionaries, and data lineage solutions.
- Develop robust security models and governance in association with process owners to establish and enforce data security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect sensitive HR data.
- Design and optimize security to maximize efficiency and improve processes.
- Lead regular reviews and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
- Implement robust endpoints to ensure seamless data flow between HR systems and other organizational/external systems.
- Lead process modeling and identify opportunities for improvement within HR data management and reporting processes.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of new Workday Security functionality, including managing internal Workday Security teams and their Workday development.
- Provide guidance and subject matter expertise on security, data, and reporting capabilities and limitations.
- Partner with HR Tech leadership on accelerations and cross-functional impacts.
- Assess and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance HR data and security architecture.
- Lead the implementation of new systems and technologies, ensuring they meet organizational standards and requirements.
- Actively participate in Workday's semi-annual delivery process, working with business teams to address critical impacts and upcoming development opportunities.
- Maintain service delivery excellence, including a list of key expectations and timelines across projects/initiatives with conditions and proactively communicate progress to various stakeholders.
Requirements and Skills
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- 5+ years of experience in data design, data management, and security, with a focus on HR systems.
- Deep understanding of Workday and familiarity with other HR Tech systems.
- Strong exposure and knowledge of various types of HR systems across the Ability function.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, data protection laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in data modeling, database design, and data integration tools.
- Experience with security frameworks and protocols.
- Project management and experience with Agile methodologies.
- Innovative thinking, ability to collaborate with business, and navigating ambiguity.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
