**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Director, Global Head, Adversarial Abuse/Analytics to join our Trust and Security team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the Adversarial Abuse group in identifying and eliminating malicious actors, as well as the Business Investigation group in producing insights, estimating uncaught badnesses, and distributing Transparency Reports for countries worldwide. **Key Responsibilities**
* Lead the Adversarial Abuse group in identifying and eliminating malicious actors, including account takeovers, spam, commitment misuse, and evading end
* Collaborate with the Strategy Advancement group to develop approaches using account, social, and content signals to describe harmful behavior
* Work with the Item Management and Designing team to improve location and tooling, and with the Worldwide Merchant Activities team to oversee scaled implementation
* Manage accelerations with quick turnaround times, providing data-driven insights and experiences, and implementing solutions while building relationships with key cross-functional partners
* Develop and maintain a deep understanding of emerging trends and patterns in the industry, including generative AI
* Foster a culture of innovation and experimentation, encouraging team members to think creatively and take calculated risks
* Develop and execute strategies to improve the effectiveness of our analytics capabilities, including data quality, data governance, and data visualization
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new products and features that prevent adversarial abuse
* Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders on the effectiveness of our analytics capabilities and the impact of our efforts on the business
**Essential Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer science, mathematics, or statistics
* 4-year certification or equivalent experience in a related field
* 2 years of experience working with risk management, fraud fighting at scale, and building/conveying analytical models
* 2 years of experience working with design teams that build data foundation and ML models
* 2 years of experience driving teams with the ability to work non-standard weeks of work as accelerations require
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Postgraduate education in a related field (e.g., research, design, data science)
* 2 years of experience with investigation of large datasets and anomaly detection
* Experience or demonstrated interest in adversarial abuse activities
* Knowledge of SQL/R/Matlab
* Exceptional influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners
* Strong business judgment, critical and analytical skills, including using data to drive strategy and business action with the ability to work in a rapidly changing industry and manage ambiguity while minimizing uncertainty through quantitative insights
