**Job Summary**
As a Remote After Training Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to requests, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. This role requires strong communication skills, a customer-centric approach, and the ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Enhance and strengthen relationships between customers and clients through consistent, professional, and superior interpersonal and service skills.
* Respond to customer requests via telephone, research, and discuss options regarding various aspects of policies and procedures.
* Assist with site access and refer requests for other policy modifications to appropriate areas.
* Work in a virtual environment, primarily from a home office, with periodic visits to the assigned GCSO office for team events, meetings, training, and business continuity.
* Demonstrate a true desire to help people, possess a professional and engaging phone voice, and exhibit excellent oral and written communication skills.
**Essential Skills and Experience**
* 1-2 years of experience in a call center or customer service role (considering those with customer service experience).
* Intermediate computer literacy and proficiency.
* Ability to multi-task and operate multiple screens while speaking with customers.
* Strong knowledge of troubleshooting for different browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox), clearing cookies and cache, screenshots, etc.
* Experience accessing and navigating up to 10 electronic systems to provide complete responses.
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Ability to work shifts between 8 AM and 11 PM ET, Monday through Friday, including evening shifts if needed.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Previous call center experience.
* Ability to learn quickly and willingness to obtain functional knowledge and understanding of company products.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills, a professional and engaging phone voice, and superior telephone etiquette.
* Excellent active listening skills with the ability to comprehend and articulate clearly to customers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work in a team environment to improve service to internal and external customers while also demonstrating an ability to work independently from home.
* Flexibility to work various shifts within hours of operation and adapt to changing business needs.
**Training and Onboarding**
* New hires will receive comprehensive training at our Warwick, RI location from May 27th, 2025, to June 27th, 2025.
* Training hours will be from 8:30 AM to 5 PM EST, Monday through Friday.
* After training, you'll work a consistent schedule within the hours of 8 AM to 11 PM ET, Monday through Friday.
