Job Summary

The Long Term Substitute Teacher for Elementary Music will be responsible for covering the long-term absence of the regular teacher, providing instruction and assistance to students, and managing classroom activities and behaviors. This is a remote opportunity, but the position requires regular on-site presence at Legacy Elementary School.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction to students in elementary music, aligning with district curriculum and standards
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the diverse needs of students
• Manage classroom behaviors and activities, creating a positive and respectful learning environment
• Build positive relationships with students, teachers, and staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive school community
• Maintain accurate records and communicate with the regular teacher and school administrators as needed
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current on best practices in elementary music education

Qualifications and Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Essential Qualifications

• North Dakota Teaching License (or eligible for licensure)
• Experience teaching elementary music or related subject area

Compensation and Benefits
