About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, and CS business owners to design and develop reliable, scalable data pipelines, transforming raw data into core business metrics.
- Work with custom visualization tools to surface CS insights, providing actionable data to inform business decisions.
- Design and implement data models that adapt to changes in source data or business processes, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Develop and maintain big data pipelines using technologies like Hive, Presto, Spark, and Flink, handling medium to large-scale data sets (10s of millions of records).
- Partner with analysts, engineers, and business leaders to prioritize and address business problems, advocating for data quality and advanced SQL skills.
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- At least 4 years of experience engineering data pipelines using big data technologies on medium to large-scale data sets.
- Strong data modeling skills, with the ability to design adaptable structures that accommodate changes in source data or business processes.
- Proficiency in Python or Scala, with a passion for writing clean, supportable code.
- Advanced SQL skills and a strong commitment to data quality.
- Analytical aptitude, with the ability to think through business problems and prioritize autonomously.
