Your primary responsibility will be to ensure seamless and efficient processing of customer transactions, including check processing, direct deposits, and budget transfers. You'll work closely with various departments, including contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions, to resolve customer inquiries, process transactions, and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
**Key Responsibilities**
As a remote customer service representative at arenaflex, your key responsibilities will include:
* Completing statistical access and balancing features to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer transactions
* Coordinating return items with contributors, vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
* Assisting various departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated accounting standard ledger balancing
* Working member cases/assignments to ensure timely and accurate resolution
* Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines, as well as Federal Banking regulations
* Processing mortgage bills, multi-account and member deposits, credit card bills, and other exams, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff exams
* Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
* Logging, studying, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
* Processing Stop Pays and Check Batching
* Completing daily balancing and department closing
* Obtaining information from contributors for timely and accurate processing of international and domestic budget transfer requests
* Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing budget transfer information
* Communicating with vendors to process budget transfers
* Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming budget transfer regulations
* Depositing check returns, reviewing member re-exams on draft changes, processing member exams, affirming contributors for outgoing budget transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing budget transfers
* Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
**All You'll Need for Success**
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
* A high school degree or GED
* Intermediate Excel and Word experience
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision
* Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines under high-pressure situations
* Ability to maintain excellent performance and attendance
* Ability to self-motivate with strong employer skills and ability for attention to detail
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet deadlines
* Ability to cross-train and perform any position assigned within the department
* Ability to interact professionally with all personnel and contributors
**Preferred Qualifications**
While not required, previous customer/member service experience, banking or Credit Union experience, Episys/Symitar, and processing wires experience are highly desirable.

* Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
