**About the Role**
As a Customer Service Representative on our after-hours team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring that our clients receive the support they need, even outside of regular business hours. This is a full-time, remote position based in South Africa, with a unique schedule that offers flexibility and work-life balance.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Answer all incoming calls from clients and caregivers, providing timely and effective support to resolve queries and concerns.
* Resolve client and nurse queries that are within the scope of after-hours, using your expertise and judgment to provide solutions that meet their needs.
* Respond promptly to queries that come in through our texting platform, ensuring that clients receive timely and accurate information.
* Notify clients and replace caregiver callouts as necessary, using your discretion to make decisions that prioritize client care.
* Confirm caregivers 1-2 hours before shift start, ensuring that our clients receive the support they need.
* Perform initial intake for callers potentially interested in our services, providing a warm and welcoming introduction to arenaflex.
* Document all scenarios on our platform, as well as update caregiver schedules as needed, to ensure that our systems are accurate and up-to-date.
* Complete non-urgent admin projects if time allows, using your initiative and problem-solving skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
**Requirements**
* **Skills**:
+ Fluent in English (written and spoken)
+ Compassionate and confident, with a strong ability to empathize with clients and caregivers
+ Responsible and reliable, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and delivering results
+ 10+ years' work experience in customer service and office duties, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations
+ Adaptable and flexible regarding work hours, with a willingness to work a non-traditional schedule
+ Impeccable phone and computer skills, with experience using a range of software applications and systems
+ Staffing and/or healthcare experience, with a strong understanding of the care industry and its challenges
+ Experience working remotely and independently, with a proven ability to manage your time and prioritize tasks
+ Quiet and professional work-from-home environment, with a reliable internet connection and load-shedding backup
* **Education**:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g. customer service, healthcare) preferred
