We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated ARC Compliance & Training Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the ARC, you will be responsible for planning and executing laboratory data collection and analysis to support clinical research, assisting in specialty research involving animals, MRI technologies, histology, and other areas. Under minimal supervision from the Director of Rodent Clinical Services, you will be responsible for post-approval monitoring rounds, surgery observations, coordinating animal compliance issues, and protocol congruency for special services procedure requests from investigators.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong educational foundation in a related field, such as laboratory animal science, biology, or a related discipline. A minimum of 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline is required, with preferred experience in a biomedical research environment and a research animal setting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with faculty, investigators, administrators, staff, and outside vendors. You should be able to initiate problem-solving and prioritize tasks, demonstrating good judgment and decision-making skills. Strong computer skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are also essential.
