Job Overview
We're seeking a skilled and passionate Substitute Teacher to join our team in Manor, TX. Key Responsibilities

Essential Qualifications
To be successful as a Substitute Teacher with Scoot Education, you'll need:
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or 60+ college credits
- Three professional references, including one from a previous direct supervisor
- A background check (we'll cover the cost of this)
- A passion for education and a commitment to putting students first
- An empathetic nature, a growth mindset, and a drive to be the best you can be
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience working with students of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Knowledge of trauma-informed teaching practices and classroom management strategies
- Familiarity with special education principles and practices, including IEPs and 504 plans
- Experience with online learning platforms and educational technologies

Compensation and Benefits

- Up to $176 per day for day-to-day assignments, with higher rates for long-term assignments
- Weekly pay, with no fussing with taxes (you'll be a W-2 employee)
