Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support to seniors, enabling them to live safely and comfortably in their own homes
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, transportation, and companionship
- Help clients with ambulation, transferring, and range of motion exercises, promoting mobility and independence
- Provide medication reminders, document client conditions, and notify supervisors of any concerns or changes in client status
- Ensure a safe home environment, free from hazards and obstacles, and participate in activities that bring clients joy and fulfillment
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans, promoting optimal client outcomes
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Six (6) months of experience in a healthcare role preferred, but not essential
- CPR certification required
- Valid Alabama driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation essential
- Compassionate and helping nature, with excellent communication skills and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or in a related healthcare role
- Certification in a relevant area, such as gerontology or dementia care
