Key Responsibilities
As an Entry-Level Remote Data Entry Clerk at Aetna, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with internal partners and agencies to design and develop reporting solutions, analytic research, and applications that support business needs.
- Developing, validating, and executing complex queries, creating complex reports, and performing complex data analysis to answer business questions for internal clients.
- Designing and developing applications for internal clients.
- Evaluating data needs of assigned projects, ensuring data integrity and suitability, and determining data series methods, metrics definitions, and assessment methods.

- Troubleshooting technical details/issues.

Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent related work experience.
- 2-4+ years of experience with Microsoft Access (manipulating forms, tables, queries, etc.), Excel, Visual Basic for Applications.
- Experience with reporting platforms, such as SQL Server Integrated Services (SSIS).
- Knowledge of development programming languages, such as ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript.
- Experience with database languages, such as Transact SQL.
- Database knowledge, including MS SQL Server.
Preferred Qualifications
We would also prefer candidates with:
- Experience with reporting platforms, such as WEBI (SAP BI Launchpad).
- Knowledge of Aetna systems, databases, and underlying information structures (e.g., ACAS, HMO, HRP, etc.).
- Database knowledge, including Hadoop, Oracle.
- Experience with development database languages, such as Oracle PLSQL.
- Crystal Reporting experience.
