About the Role
As a Homecare Assistant with Alcedo Care Preston, you'll play a vital role in providing compassionate care and support to individuals with diverse needs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering personal care and assistance with daily living tasks
- Supporting clients with complex needs, such as those with disabilities or chronic conditions
- Assisting with medication management and other healthcare tasks
- Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns to the care team
- Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care
What We're Looking For
We're looking for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in people's lives. To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A full UK driving license and access to a reliable vehicle
- The ability to work flexibly, including evening shifts and every other weekend
- A caring and compassionate nature, with a positive attitude
- Reliability, trustworthiness, and punctuality
- The right to work in the UK
- To be at least 18 years old
No previous experience is necessary, as we'll provide comprehensive training and support to help you excel in this role.
