Technical Writer - Part-time

Our client, a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business providing full-service IT solutions to both federal and commercial clients is seeking a Technical Writer responsible for documenting the architecture, design decisions, deployment procedures, and testing results throughout the prototype project. They will ensure all documentation aligns with the agency's technical standards and is accessible for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. This includes contributing to configuration guides, design overviews, risk assessments, and final deliverables for transition. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and maintain all technical documentation for the prototype - Ensure content is clear, accurate, and aligns with USCG documentation standards - Translate technical inputs into concise, actionable deliverable for stakeholders - Support delivery of design artifacts and system overviews Required Skills - Must be a US Citizen due to government requirement - Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - 3+ years of experience as a technical writer - Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - Experience with MS Office - Able to provide writing samples upon request - Government background is preferred Apply tot his job
