You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic SEO initiatives that drive client revenue growth. You will be a client-facing expert, acting as an extension of their internal team, and an internal resource, helping to grow the agency's expertise and processes. Responsibilities • Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies for clients, translating complex concepts into actionable tactics that deliver measurable results. • Conduct thorough website audits, identifying technical SEO issues, content gaps, and opportunities for improvement. • Stay up-to-date on the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices. • Manage client relationships, proactively communicating project status, and identifying new opportunities. • Lead and participate in client meetings, presenting findings, strategies, and recommendations. • Work collaboratively with project managers to ensure projects stay on budget, scope, and timeline. • Track the impact of implemented SEO initiatives on client website performance. • Contribute to the agency's SEO expertise by developing internal knowledge bases and best practices. • Collaborate with analysts to plan SEO work for clients and review deliverables for quality and alignment with strategy. • Effectively communicate project objectives and direction to team members to achieve desired outcomes. • Manage and utilize agency resources effectively to maximize client benefit and build long-term relationships. Experience • 5+ years of experience conducting SEO campaigns and related work. • Experience in Python and JS: the ability to process data from SEO tools. • Strong analytical skills and a passion for data-driven decision making. • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. • Ability to translate complex SEO concepts into easy-to-understand language for clients. • Experience with SEO industry tools and a willingness to learn new technologies. • A strong understanding of SEO fundamentals including crawling, indexing, and ranking factors. • Experience working with cross-functional teams (development, content marketing, etc.) Plus Skills. • Experience with programmatic web development and JavaScript. • Familiarity with SQL or experience working with reporting teams to build data pipelines. • Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM) and managing SEO tags. • Experience with working on large websites with 1 million+ URLs. • Experience collaborating with developers and data science teams to automate SEO tasks.
