Technical Project Manager

The Technical Project Manager, Sales role involves owning technical engagement throughout the sales cycle, building demos, and converting leads into signed customers while actively participating in revenue growth. Responsibilities Own technical engagement across the sales cycle, from first call to signed deal and early implementation Receive and actively work inbound and outbound sales leads, partnering closely with Sales to qualify, advance, and close opportunities Build and deliver custom demos, POCs, and solution walkthroughs that clearly articulate business value and ROI Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover customer goals, pain points, budget signals, and buying timelines Translate business and technical requirements into solution architectures and deployment plans using Agora’s APIs, SDKs, WebRTC, and cloud infrastructure Serve as the technical face of the deal, confidently presenting to engineers, product teams, and executive stakeholders Attend industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to source new leads, build relationships, and expand the pipeline Track leads, activity, and conversion metrics in CRM tools, using data to refine demo strategy and outreach Provide direct market feedback on customer needs, objections, and competitive landscape to help with the roadmap and sales strategy Skills 1–3 years of experience in sales, pre-sales, solutions engineering, technical account management, or customer-facing technical roles Strong interest in sales, pipeline development, and revenue growth—you want to be measured by impact, not just activity Experience building demos, prototypes, or technical presentations that help close deals Comfortable engaging prospects across the funnel—from first conversation to executive-level presentations Ability to explain complex technology in clear, persuasive, business-focused language Curious and hands-on with technology; experience with APIs, SDKs, Voice AI, WebRTC, or cloud platforms is a strong plus Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving, startup environments with ownership and accountability Willingness to travel locally and attend events, meetups, and conferences as part of pipeline generation Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Technology, or a related field Benefits Equity Competitive base salaries Company Overview Agora (NASDAQ: API) is the global leader in real-time engagement, providing developers with simple, flexible, and powerful APIs to embed real-time conversational AI, voice, video, interactive live streaming, and chat into their applications and IoT devices.
