Sr. Compliance Analyst- FCRA- Credit Reporting

About the position This Sr. Compliance Analyst- FCRA- Credit Reporting position is responsible for monitoring, data analysis, remediation, training, and achieving overall compliance standards that will meet and exceed the expectations set by state and federal regulators including, but not limited to, state Attorneys General, the United States Department of Justice, and the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Responsibilities • Maintain cutting edge knowledge of potential legal and regulatory changes that affect AHFC's business environment and apply this knowledge by identifying potential risk issues including those related to all state and federal law. • Maintain overall knowledge of business operations as well as develop specific subject matter expertise and apply both by implementing recommendations that reduce risk. • Actively engage myriad of tools and resources to monitor, analyze, research, investigate, communicate, and remediate concerning the appropriate prioritization of AHFC compliance risk. • Satisfy special assignments as requested by management to identify, understand, or resolve issues including those related to UDAAP. Requirements • Bachelor degree in Business, Management, or related field; Masters degree preferred. • Minimum seven (7) years finance industry experience, regulatory, legal, or compliance experience. • Project planning and project management experience. • Excellent organizational and time management skills. • Superior oral and written communication skills. • Strong legal research and legal analytical skills. • Attention to detail. • Experience working with legal counsel. • Proficient in MS Windows (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
