About the Role This role is part of the Computerized Innovation and Development group, focusing on advancing digital platforms and enhancing the integration of the development pipeline into client-facing capabilities. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks that require a strong and versatile skill set. Key Responsibilities Utilize your expertise in supporting Web/Programming interface stages built using Java (Spring/Spring Boot), ensuring seamless functionality and integration. Collaborate with Designing groups to maintain SLAs and SLOs, identifying opportunities to improve stage metrics and delivering enhancements to stakeholders. Explore and investigate legacy frameworks alongside cloud infrastructure (on-prem and third-party) such as PCF or Azure, driving efficiency and innovation. Proactively monitor application performance through tools like Splunk, Application dashboards, AppDynamics, and Dynatrace, ensuring optimal performance and swift issue resolution. Address Stage Designing groups during production outages and work collaboratively with designing groups to resolve production issues. Team up with stakeholders across the designing capability to own/specify RCA and drive long-lasting solutions. Design, support, execute, and comply with governance programs/processes to foster a strong control environment within your functional area. Proactively identify, communicate, mitigate, and escalate risk arising from non-compliance with processes, operational errors, and data integrity issues. Influence SRE practices within and outside teams to promote a strong SRE culture, serving as a guide/leader to mentor other specialists. Essential Qualifications To excel in this role, you must possess: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. 3+ years of programming experience, with a strong background in Java (Spring/Spring Boot). 3+ years of experience with JSON (JavaScript Object Notation) development. 3+ years of experience with REST or SOAP web services. 3+ years of Internet Banking systems development experience. 3+ years of application performance monitoring (APM) tools, such as Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Prometheus. 3+ years of Mongo DB experience. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications can enhance your candidacy: Experience with cloud infrastructure (PCF or Azure). Knowledge of SRE practices and culture. Background in financial services or banking. Skills and Competencies To succeed as a Senior Software Engineer at Wells Fargo, you should possess: Strong programming skills, with expertise in Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
