About the Client A U.S.-based education services provider offering online and campus-based post-secondary education, primarily serving military personnel, veterans, and public service communities. The organization delivers degree and certificate programs across disciplines such as nursing, health sciences, business, IT, and liberal arts. In addition to its headquarters in West Virginia, the customer operates facilities and partner institutions across the United States. The primary product areas to work with are learning management systems, student enrollment, and academic operations on web and mobile platforms. What You’ll Do • Support ongoing delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions across multiple parallel initiatives, including quarterly planning cycles and ad hoc reporting needs • Design and develop dimensional models, including fact and dimension tables, to support robust data analysis and reporting • Build and maintain data marts tailored to specific business domains and use cases • Develop dashboards and interactive visualizations that enable stakeholders to make data-driven decisions • Create and maintain business and data quality monitoring reports and automated alerts • Work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to gather requirements, refine backlog items, and ensure BI solutions meet evolving business needs • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts related to BI architecture, data quality, and performance optimization What You Bring • 5+ years of experience as a BI Developer, Analytics Engineer, or in a similar data-focused role • Proficiency in Power BI, including building scalable dashboards, reports, certified datasets, and Power BI semantic models for self-service analytics • Strong hands-on experience with dimensional modeling (designing fact and dimension tables) and developing data marts to support analytics • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and experience working with large, complex datasets • Experience defining and refining KPIs while collaborating with business stakeholders • Ability to perform report rationalization, consolidating and optimizing existing reports to improve usability and performance • Experience developing data quality monitoring dashboards, business health reports, and automated alerts • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to work effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams • Ability to work with at least a 4-hour overlap with US Eastern Time English level Intermediate/Upper-Intermediate Legal & Hiring Information • Exadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more • Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions • Please note: this job description is not exhaustive.
