We are currently seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Global FP&A team based in our New York, NY office. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Budget/Forecast (Content Licensing and Affiliate Revenue) • Prepare detailed 5-year financial revenue and cash models. • Develop and maintain financial forecasts and databases. • Analyze close results and trends and prepare monthly close package. • Help prepare annual Budget LRP and reports for senior management. • Perform financial analysis of proposed economics. • Review contractual provisions during negotiations to ensure economic terms within the financial model and contract agree. • Analyze subscriber and financial history. • Improve and maintain process for tracking and reporting content licensing sales. • Perform ad hoc analysis to support the distribution business, as necessary. • Develop an understanding of AMCN distribution products and their position in the marketplace. • Research and summarize industry trends to inform forecast as well as renewal strategy. Qualifications (Required & Preferred) • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Accounting/Finance, or a related field. • 3 - 5 years experience in Financial Analytics • Prior experience with financial modeling is required. • Prior budget or forecast experience is required. • Prior experience within the Media industry preferred. • Strong business acumen and communication skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Extremely diligent with a high attention to detail. • Comfortable working in high pressure situations. • Accountable for quality and accuracy of work. • Must be a creative problem solver and a quick thinker. The base compensation for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 commensurate with experience.
