Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Senior Counsel to join our Digital Products, Data Analytics & Intellectual Property team at Walgreens. As a trusted advisor to our business leaders, you will provide strategic counsel and guidance on a wide range of legal issues, from digital product development to intellectual property and data analytics. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic counsel and guidance to business leaders on a wide range of legal issues, including digital product development, data analytics, and intellectual property Develop and implement intellectual property portfolio strategies that align with Walgreens' business objectives Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and technology, to drive business outcomes Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues, identifying potential risks and opportunities Draft and review complex legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory submissions Manage and coordinate with external counsel, as needed Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and developments in digital products, data analytics, and intellectual property Essential Qualifications Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school At least 5 years of post-bar attorney experience in a combination of law firm and corporate settings Licensure to practice law in at least one state Illinois bar membership or active bar participation in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Proven experience in providing strategic counsel and guidance to business leaders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications Experience in the retail pharmacy or healthcare industry Familiarity with digital products, data analytics, and intellectual property Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines Experience with project management and team leadership Career Growth Opportunities At Walgreens, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
