[Remote] Quantitative Analyst (Sports Betting) - relocation

Exacta Solutions Ltd is a fast-growing B2B provider building advanced sports data, pricing, and modelling solutions for global sportsbooks. They are seeking a Sports Modeller to join their quantitative modelling team to develop and maintain core pricing and projection models for their sportsbook platform. Responsibilities • Build, calibrate, and optimise projection models for major sports (e.g., MLB, NBA, NHL, football) • Improve model accuracy by analysing pricing patterns, market movements, and historical data • Reduce discrepancies between opening and closing prices through statistical refinement • Support the introduction of new betting markets by developing underlying mathematical logic • Analyse large datasets to detect trends, variance, and anomalies in pricing output • Evaluate competitor markets to maintain competitive and accurate pricing • Work with customer behavioural data to support risk modelling and segmentation • Partner with trading teams to evaluate line efficiency and adjust real-time pricing strategies • Collaborate with product teams to develop new market offerings, model features, and pricing tools • Conduct back-testing, scenario modelling, and regression checks before deploying updated models • Ensure correct settlement logic and model integrity for all markets • Identify issues and work with engineering/data teams to implement fixes Skills • 2–5+ years in sports modelling, quantitative analysis, trading, or sportsbook analytics • Strong statistical modelling skills (Python/R /preferred; advanced Excel also acceptable) • Deep understanding of betting markets, probabilities, handicaps, totals, derivatives, and pricing logic • Practical experience with projection models, machine learning, or simulation techniques • Ability to work with large datasets and create actionable insights • Understanding of sportsbook operations, trading workflows, and risk management • Comfortable collaborating with product, engineering, and trading stakeholders • Experience building models for MLB, NBA, NHL, NFL, or global football • Experience working for a sportsbook operator or platform provider • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, GCP) or SQL Company Overview • Recruitment - Great businesses are built on great people — and we know how to find them.
