About the Role As a Remote Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our customers, responding to their inquiries, resolving issues, and providing personalized support. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, utilizing our state-of-the-art technology and following established processes to ensure seamless customer interactions. Key Responsibilities Respond to customer inquiries via telephone, providing timely and effective resolutions to their issues. Navigate our computerized data entry system and other relevant applications to access customer information, process requests, and update records. Resolve basic or tier 1 payment and account-related requests, including card activations, payments, and name and address updates for card holders. Utilize basic user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) screens for client systems and established documentation and processes to provide standardized or scripted responses. Enter required data into client-provided systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. Determine basic reasons for customer issues using a client-provided decision tree and escalate or refer unresolved customer grievances and requests to more experienced Customer Service Representatives or designated departments. Build base knowledge and familiarization of products, policies, and procedures for a limited number of clients, and develop an understanding of association guidelines and compliance. Work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as assigned by blithequark's 24/7 Call Center. Be on camera during work hours, ensuring a professional and engaging customer experience. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or Equivalent 6 months minimum call center experience, either remote or onsite Desired Skills and Capabilities Skills / Knowledge: Acquires and applies job skills and learns company policies and procedures to complete assigned routine tasks. Job Complexity: Works on assignments that are routine to semi-routine in nature, requiring limited decision outside of stated processes, but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice. Supervision: Normally receives detailed instructions and follows established procedures on all work, requires instructions on all assignments.
