Product Operations (Voice AI) AI agents are being adopted everywhere, and Plivo is leading the effort in creating enterprise-grade AI agents for customer communication. Our platform enables businesses to build intelligent solutions across voice, SMS, and WhatsApp - all powered by Plivo's robust voice and messaging APIs. This role is for a Product Operations Engineer within the Voice product team vertical. You will work closely with product managers, engineering, and customer support teams to ensure business continuity, maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, and drive operational excellence. What would you be doing? • Own Product Operations responsibilities as part of Plivo's Voice Product Team • Work with external vendors and partners to unblock processes and accelerate customer onboarding for AI agent deployments • Conduct regular business review meetings with external partners and vendors, highlighting issues and identifying areas for improvement • Maintain ownership of telecommunications-related blockers until resolved completely, showing a high degree of customer focus • Understand technical concepts across both telecommunications and AI domains to drive reliable solutions and exceptional service experiences Who would be the right fit? • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing or vendor-facing operations, support, or technical role • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Demonstrable problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with a logical thought process • Strong business data analysis skills with proficiency in either MS Excel or Google Sheets • Good interpersonal skills to interact effectively with global partners and cross-functional teams Nice to Have - • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude • Understanding of conversational AI, voice agents, or messaging automation concepts • Working knowledge of SQL What's in it for you - • As part of the Voice product team, you will gain deep expertise at the intersection of telecommunications and artificial intelligence - two of the most dynamic industries today. • You'll witness firsthand how AI agents are transforming business communications and become a subject matter expert in this emerging space. • You'll work with international customers, vendors, and colleagues in a global, regulated environment. • This role offers exposure to cutting-edge AI technology and telecommunications infrastructure, developing strong operational skills and cross-functional collaboration experience while being part of a team shaping the future of AI-powered communications.
