Job Description We are seeking a strategic and creative People Analytics Manager to support high-impact HR initiatives through advanced analytics and data storytelling. This role will focus on special projects that drive business outcomes, partnering closely with the Reporting & Analytics team and cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate brings a consultant mindset, thrives in ambiguity, brings structure to complex problems, and delivers executive-ready insights that influence decision-making. This position offers flexibility for primarily remote work, to be based from a variety of US or Canada locations where AECOM has an office. Key Responsibilities: • Lead analytics for special HR projects aligned with strategic business priorities. • Partner with HR and business leaders to frame problems, define metrics, and deliver actionable insights. • Synthesize data from multiple sources (e.g., talent, engagement, performance, DEI) into cohesive narratives. • Develop compelling executive-level presentations and dashboards using data visualization tools. • Collaborate with the Reporting & Analytics team to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and scalability. • Translate complex data into clear, concise stories that drive decisions and action. • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities through exploratory analysis. • Apply a consultative approach to problem-solving, offering strategic guidance and analytical expertise. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: • BA/BS plus at least 8 years of relevant experience in people analytics, business intelligence, or a related field, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset. • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and storytelling techniques. • Proficiency in data querying (e.g., SQL) and working with large datasets. • Excellent communication skills with experience preparing deliverables for senior leadership. • Strong collaboration skills and ability to influence Preferred Qualifications: • 2 years of consulting experience • Experience working within similarly large, complex organizations • Experience with Workday and/or Qualtrics • Experience with workforce planning • Experience with AI projects for HR • Proven ability to work independently in ambiguous environments, demonstrating initiative and bring clarity to complexity.
