As a Paid Media Strategist, you will drive digital advertising strategies across various platforms, manage client budgets, and optimize campaign performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Strategically plan, create, and oversee all facets of digital advertising campaigns, including PPC, Google Display, YouTube, and social media Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering a tailored experience to meet their unique needs and ensure satisfaction and strong, long-term relationships Monitor and manage campaign finances diligently, ensuring adherence to budgets, forecasting monthly expenditures, and reconciling any financial discrepancies Uphold strict adherence to campaign deadlines, ensuring precise and accurate execution of all tasks Conduct detailed tracking, analysis, and reporting of website analytics using GA4 and other tools, as well as performance metrics for all paid advertising initiatives Implement conversion tracking by setting up and placing the appropriate codes on clients’ websites Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Marketing Science, Sales, Web Development, Social Media, Content, and SEO—to manage client accounts and implement tailored marketing strategies Support process innovation to ensure campaigns run efficiently and effectively Continuously stay informed on industry trends and best practices to maintain innovative and competitive marketing strategies Skills Legally able to work in Canada and located in Calgary, AB Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field 1+ years of experience in SEM (Search Engine Marketing), managing PPC campaigns on Google, demonstrating a strong grasp of paid search strategies 2+ years in customer service, hospitality, or client relationship management Experience with analytics and tracking tools such as GA4 and Google Tag Manager is an asset Strong knowledge of Meta advertising Analytical and data-driven mindset, with a good understanding of A/B testing and experience optimizing marketing strategies Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating strong project management and prioritization skills Strong organizational skills to maintain systematic campaign management Keen attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all aspects of work Basic understanding of SEO principles is beneficial for integrating SEM with organic search strategies Previous experience in an agency setting, demonstrating adaptability and client-focused experience Experience with Fluency Benefits Three weeks of paid vacation Twelve flex days *Passion Day* to spend however you choose Company-wide *MeMonday* to prioritize mental health Thirty-day remote work policy for when you need a change of scenery Twenty-six hours of paid volunteer time each year Comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and spending accounts Access to mentorship Leadership programs like LEAD Ongoing learning opportunities designed to help you grow your skills and career Company Overview POD Marketing is the parent company of four specialized verticals: Marketing4ECPs (eye care), CITIZEN (senior living marketing), SmileShop Dental Marketing, and Cleinman Performance Partners (optometry practice consulting).
